Coffee Filter Ballerina

Materials

  • Watercolor Paint Pallets
  • Paint Brushes
  • Coffee Filters
  • Spray Bottles
  • 9”x12” Paper
  • Pipecleaners
  • Plates
  • Glue

Instructions

Use the spray bottle to soak the watercolor paint pallet, and add color to your coffee filter. Shape the pipecleaner into the top half of a ballerina. Glue the pipecleaner and coffee filter to your paper to compete the project.

Spin Art

Materials

  • Spin Art Machine
  • Tempera Paint
  • 9”x12” White Paper
  • Squeeze Bottles
  • 12”x18” Paper

Instructions

Use a spin art machine to make unique projects. Glue a few to 1 piece of paper.

Paint Sandpaper

Materials

  • Sand Paper
  • Masking Tape
  • White 9”x12” Paper
  • Crayons
  • Tempera Paint
  • Plates
  • Paint Rollers

Instructions

Cut up sand paper into shapes and tape underneath paper. Use crayons first to make the shapes and texture on the paper. Add paint for more color and fun!

Paint Rollers

Materials

  • White 9”x12” Paper
  • Paint Rollers
  • Yarn
  • Bubble Wrap
  • Tempera Paint
  • Plates

Instructions

Wrap paint rollers in yarn to make different textures and roll them all over your paper.

Liquid Tempera Paint

Materials

  • White 9"x12" Paper
  • Paint Brushes
  • Red, Yellow, and Blue Tempera Paint
  • Paint Cups
  • Texture Brushes

Instructions

Use textured paint brushes to explore with tempera paint.
