Winter Foods

Winter Veggies

Materials

  • Blue and Brown 9”x12” Paper
  • Green Tissue Paper
  • Red, Orange, and Brown Cardstock
  • Light Brown Yarn
  • Red and Orange Pompoms
  • Glue

Instructions

Cut a piece of brown paper in half length-wise and glue to the bottom half of the blue paper. Cut out tomatoes and carrots. Fill them in with pompoms to make them 3D. Use green tissue paper to add greens. Make roots for your veggies using the yarn.

Winter Soup

Instructions

Use cardstock to make a tablecloth and a pot for your soup. Add pieces of cardboard, dry noodles, yarn, pompoms, whatever you have on hand.

Hot Chocolate

Instructions

Make this cute hot chocolate mug with a paper plate. Choose the color to paint your plate and add a little square of construction paper to make the handle. Then add tissue paper squares and cotton balls.

Instructions

Use a Cricut to cut out shapes, or cut out by hand. Assemble with glue and paint.

Caramel Apples

  • Squeeze Bottles
  • Caramel Tempera Paint
  • Glitter

Instructions

Add some caramel colored paint to a squeeze bottle and lift your paper up to let it drop down just like real caramel.
